ABU DHABI – Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi
celebrates Ramadan by highlighting its Chinese heritage with Ramadan Blessing
Cookies. Every day during the holy
month, from 6 June through 7 July 2016, guests are given one of eight Ramadan
Blessing Cookies containing traditional well wishes and shaped to emulate its
authentic Chinese cookie namesake.
One out of eight cookies offered daily will reveal a gift in
the form of a voucher to honor the spirit of giving this Ramadan. These vouchers range from complimentary
stays, spa treatments or dining experiences.
Blessings include such those as “Embrace the virtues of Ramadan”; “Speak
nothing but good”, “Forgive when you can take revenge”, “Give away from what
you have” and “Work hard’. Ramadan
Mubarak.
“This Ramadan we wanted to give back to those loyal guests
staying with us during this holy month.
By giving them a Ramadan blessing, we respect and honor our guests as we
welcome them with this heartfelt gesture.
Ramadan Kareem,” said General Manager Thomas Guss.
Furthermore, the hotel supports the Make-A-Wish Foundation
and the dreams of terminally ill children.
Included in each cookie are instructions on how to donate. Guests may text “SLAD” to 5555 to donate
Dh50, to 6888 for Dh100 or to 7000 for Dh200.
Guests may call (971 2) 509 8639 today to book a stay
between 6 June and 7 July 2016 and participate in this gesture of giving.
