UTEP, dressed in all orange uniforms, travels to Southern Miss who will be wearing their all-black home uniforms on Halloween in Hattiesburg. Marshall heads to Charlotte; the Shula Bowl will be renewed in Boca Raton when FIU makes the 45-minute trek north to face Florida Atlantic, and West Division in-state rivals UTSAA and North Texas meet. Also Saturday in the MAC, UMass is at Ball State and Central Michigan goes to Akron.

The Popeyes Bahamas Bowl is a NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) postseason bowl game that exists to promote the Islands of The Bahamas, and in turn, promote educational and athletic opportunities to the youth of The Bahamas through college football. The second Popeyes Bahamas Bowl will take place in Nassau, Bahamas on December 24, 2015 at Thomas A. Robinson National Stadium between schools from Conference USA and the Mid-American Conference.
