Grand Hyatt Invites Travellers to Live Grand for the Holidays Around the World

Grand Hyatt Mumbai Hosts a Spectacular Event to Celebrate the Festival of Lights
In its quest to unlock the extraordinary in every moment, the Grand Hyatt brand introduced Living Grand for the Holidays; a global programme highlighting seasonal traditions around the world and the many ways in which Grand Hyatt hotels celebrate them. In continuation of the Living Grand for the Holidays programme, Grand Hyatt Mumbai held an extraordinary Diwali celebration featuring signature cuisine, festive traditions and unexpected moments for their guests.

"By definition the Grand Hyatt brand celebrates grandness in service, design and hospitality," said Sunjae Sharma, Area Director, West India and General Manager, Grand Hyatt Mumbai. "And for the traditional Festival of Lights, Diwali, Grand Hyatt Mumbai will be the destination for memorable moments. Our Diwali celebration reinforces the ways in which Grand Hyatt hotels infuse unparalleled grandeur into every experience, from extravagant affairs and lavish dinners to world-class services and amenities."

With thousands of events hosted and unique traditions brought to life, Grand Hyatt hotels take pride in providing an abundance of possibilities for Living Grand in ways both big and small. The programme kicked off in December 2014 with a global event spanning three continents and celebrations in Melbourne, Berlin and New York, inspired by the local seasonal celebrations. A series of Chinese New Year festivities followed in February 2015, featuring customised events in Singapore, San Francisco, Taipei, Shanghai and Guangzhou.

On 5th November, Grand Hyatt Mumbai highlighted its bold event ideations with a magical play of light. An exclusively curated menu presented reimagined flavours of India, using some of the finest locally sourced ingredients such as Andaman rock lobster, Kashmiri morels and Kerala vanilla beans. Guests including socialites, top travel and lifestyle influencers and media from India and abroad, experienced a series of extraordinary moments. A dramatic performance of Indian dance forms and a spectacular pyrotechnics display ended the evening in grand style.
