"It is an honor to welcome and host HE Minister of Tourism
and Culture of Seychelles, Mr. Alain St.Ange, in Sao Paulo, as we could not
have a more warm and passionate ambassador than him to introduce Seychelles as
the next destination for Brazilians.
“Impressed by the great interest of Brazilian tour operators
and their 100% attendance to our Emirates & Seychelles event invitation at
the restaurant Kaa in Sao Paulo, and in order to celebrate Minister St.Ange’s
visit in Brazil, I am pleased to inform that Emirates will provide to all the
tour operators, which joined us tonight in our beautiful event, with a very
special air fare to the Seychelles via Dubai.
“As well, to reward the tour operators for their never-ending
support, the 4 Seychelles best sellers will win free air tickets to the
Seychelles, sponsored by Emirates, and hotel accommodation organized by the
Seychelles Ministry of Tourism and Culture.
“Jointly with the government of Seychelles, we strongly
believe in Seychelles being more than a leisure destination in Brazil, and that
this joint partnership between tour operators, Seychelles government, and
Emirates Airline will bring Seychelles closer to the heart of Brazilians,"
said Stephane Perard, the Emirates Area Manager in Brazil, as he addressed the
37 tour operators who were present at the special dinner hosted in honor of the
visiting Tourism Minister from the Seychelles.
Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for
Tourism and Culture, said when he addressed the tour operators present that he
was thankful for the encouraging news made by Emirates with a special airfare
from Brazil to Seychelles via Dubai. "This special airfare launched to
mark my working visit is most encouraging. Seychelles is the new holiday
destination for Brazilians, and tonight we are kicking our drive to claim our
fair share of this important market. If I am here, it is because I believe in
the potential of Brazil as a key source market. Emirates has made a big step by
announcing their special rates for Seychelles, we now need you, the Brazilian
tour operators, to prepare quickly your new packages to make Seychelles your
new destination for Brazilians looking for a holiday with a difference,"
said Minister Alain St.Ange as he thanked Emirates for the announcement.
Present also at the dinner was Gisele Abrahao of the
Seychelles Tourism Board's Brazil Office and her team.
