BANGKOK, Thailand - Located right at the heart of the Samui action, the Centra Coconut Beach Resort Samui is constantly striving to create enjoyable, relaxing and social events and food promotions every month. From December 2014, the Resort will be hosting nightly “Sundowner Sessions,” “Chef’s Favorite Bites,” outdoor movie nights and our patented “Sabai Thai Parties” – all fun and interactive ways to revel in the Samui sunsets and enjoy the company of friends and other guests.
The resort is perfectly positioned on Thong Tanote Beach, at the south-western tip of Koh Samui – the “coconut island” itself. The new nightly “Sundowner Sessions,” held on the beach starting from December 1, are composed of a range of fun activities such as instant prizes, volleyball and beach soccer matches as well as other relaxing games, and take place from 4 to 7 pm. Thai-style tapas and drinks at special prices are served throughout.
Also starting with the month of December is the “Chef's Favorite Bites” at Mix Bistro. Guests have all day to see what the chef has whisked up in the way of fresh seafood, Thai-style soups and snacks and tropical fruit platters to finish off with.
On December 15, guests can go the beach and the cinema, with the Resort's “Movies Under the Stars” evenings on the beach, from 7 pm through to 10 Guests can catch the latest blockbusters in the poolside open air cinema, complete with beanbags, drinks and complimentary popcorn nibbles, plus a selection of tapas to go with the action.
If that's not enough excitement, on the same day the Resort's Friday “Sabai Thai Party” kicks off weekly at TIME. Outdoor buffet tables are loaded with a genuine Thai seafood feast, freshly cooked to order. There's also a selection of alternative main dishes, delicious curries and tropical fruits to finish, as well as cocktail specials - all of which can be enjoyed to the soothing sounds of Café del Mar only 500 THB per person.
Half way through the following month, the Resort is celebrating the “Thai Rocket Festival” in style on the beach, with a night of Thai culture, cuisine and fun. There'll be a lavish array of barbecued seafood, delicious appetizers plus salads and desserts, and every guest will receive a complimentary Thai lantern that they will be able to float skywards to join the terrific display of fireworks. The evening's drink specials will serve in a glass or bucket for 700 THB per person.
