German treasure hunters can win a two-week Reunion Island holiday

Residents of the Frankfurt and Munich areas will be able to treasure hunt for bottles placed in various locations by Reunion Island Tourism (IRT) for the rest of July, part of a major promotional initiative. The marketing drive is supported by leading German tour operator Dertour and Reunion Island-based DMC Comeo. Reunion Island is building on the island’s reputation as a safe and exciting adventure and beach destination deep in the Indian Ocean, located between Madagascar and Mauritius, a spot of Europe with that unique blend of Creole culture, cuisine, and history.

Details about the competition, including terms and conditions of participation, can be accessed by Frankfurt and Munich residents via www.reunioninfo.de.flaschenpost/

The bottles will be “hidden” between July 20 and 27, and the winners will be announced on August 7. The lucky treasure hunters can expect a red carpet welcome when they land at the Roland Garros International Airport in Reunion Island’s capital of St. Denis. Their prize of a dream holiday includes airport transfers, 5 nights at the top-rated LUX Reunion Resort, tours across the island and off shore, and needless to say a helicopter flight across the rugged interior of the island, one of the thrills tourists can experience, besides a number of other adrenaline-raising adventure activities.
