“We have chosen to put our professionalism and creativity at
the service of children and families by offering activities, hospitality and a
wide range of services carefully selected to satisfy their needs” – explains
General Manager Chiara Rosati. “We are proud to announce that the website has
now been translated into English under the name www.travellingbaby.com.”
After its launch in 2006, the website soon has become the
main point of reference for all parents looking for high quality
family-friendly resorts, hotels, residences and apartments for their holidays.
Bimboinviaggio.com boasts up to 280,000 visitors each month
and its newsletter, “Bimbo in Viaggio informa,” reaches 50,000 subscribers
every week.
You can check the website high visibility by googling in
“hotel per bambini” or “alberghi per bambini” (=children hotels) or
“destinazioni per bambini” (=children destinations) or other Italian keywords
used to search holiday/travelling/children/family: the website appears on the
first page.
Bimboinviaggio.com features a collection of more than 250
family friendly hotels and over 80 parks and museums. The website is enriched
by articles written by journalists and reporters suggesting the best family
friendly activities and places to visit.
In 2010 Bimboinviaggio.com was approved by Ordine dei
Giornalisti (the Journalists’ Council) as online magazine to underline the
quality of this medium, thus strengthening the loyalty of those families
looking for reliable partners in planning their holidays.
As Marketing Director of prestigious Italian hotel chains
(Chiara she has been Marketing Director of The Charming Hotels of the World,
Sales & Marketing Director of Concerto Fine Italian Hotels) and because of
her father and grandfather being hotel directors of international hotels, she
feels hotels are part of her DNA.
“It was only after becoming a mum myself that I realized how
important it is to choose a family friendly hotel for a successful holiday, a
hotel able to welcome families and meet their needs , even better if its staff
are trained to look after the children and entertain them, while parents have
time to relax,” says Chiara.
In 2006 she designed the website Bimboinviaggio.com together
with husband Stefano Monteleone, former IT Manager for important hotel chains
and currently web master/developer with his own web agency specialized in IT
services for the hotel industry.
Today Bimboinviaggio.com is the main Italian point of
reference for all those looking for family friendly hotels and destinations.
The English version is now on line with the same layout but different look and
contents in order to satisfy a more international target of families.
