WTM: China Outbound Tourism Workshop: Successfully Attracting Sophisticated Chinese Travellers

The China Outbound Tourism Workshop  during the World Travel Market in London next week offers the latest insights and forecasts by the leading experts in the field of outbound tourism and outwards investment from China and practical advice on how to succeed in reaching the outbound travel trade cost effectively and how to cater for Chinese visitors. It is jointly presented by China Outbound Tourism Research Institute (COTRI ),  International Coalition of Tourism Partners (ICTP) and China Business Network (CBN ) which operates the China Travel and Tourism Club (ITTC) with 28,000 outbound tour operators and corporate travel organisers as corporate members and 32,000 professional members according to similar criteria of the Meridian Club for the WTM. 

As a participant of the China Outbound Tourism Workshop you will be admitted to the China Travel and Tourism Network (CTTN) which extends the membership of China Travel and Tourism Club (CTTC)  to foreign organisations and companies that are engaged in travel to or from China. The Chinese outbound tourism market has grown into the number one international tourism source market in the world. More than 83 million border crossings and more than 80 billion Euro spending in 2012 move the Chinese source market into the center of attention all over the world. In 2013 further double-digit growth numbers for overall visitors and expenditure are registered on every continent. As more and more Chinese travel, market segments evolve and sophisticated guests from China are moving from sightseeing to activities, seeking more unique experiences, niche tailored products, less-travelled destinations and also investment opportunities.
The event offers a two hour workshop, followed by an hour of small group discussions with all seven experts from different countries present.
