Combining land and sea at the height of the Patagonian summer, expedition cruise line Australis and Argentinian tour operator CYNSA invite you to explore the region with renowned National Geographic photographer Tommy Heinrich on a 12-day photo-tour. This is your chance to learn how to capture that coveted glossy magazine image in one of the most breathtaking wilderness areas in the world.
On December 07, arrive in Buenos Aires for sightseeing and the seductive tango within the city and the spectacular mountain areas outside. Travel through lagoons, forests and glaciers to Punta Arenas, Chile and complete the roundtrip by boat with Australis. These are top wildlife viewing spots and some of the most remote and seldom seen national parks and isolated islands of Southern Chile. Look forward to scheduled shootings throughout the trip.
Tommy Heinrich was born in Buenos Aires and is keen to show you the region where he grew up. After all, his sense of adventure began when he began climbing in Patagonia and the Andes. As a climber, he became the first person from Argentina to reach the summit of Mount Everest, and as a photographer, he has been on assignment for National Geographic Magazine, his evocative photographs published and exhibited.
