JW Marriott Ihilani Resort & Spa at Ko Olina is once again a proud co-sponsor of the Third Annual Hawaii Food & Wine Festival. The event’s themed finale “Savory Ever After” will be held on the beach lagoon fronting the luxury resort hotel. Executive Sous Chef Jason K. Kina will join 13 other world-renowned chefs to prepare an array of ethnic cuisine from around the world at the Ko Olina Resort on Sunday, September 8 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
With more than 35 years of culinary experience, Kina has served numerous dignitaries, celebrities, and professional athletes. He has been motivated by the Hawaii Regional Cuisine movement since its beginning in 1991. Born and raised on Oahu, Kina’s cooking is inspired by the diverse ethnic and cultural landscape in Hawaii where he enjoys using local, fresh ingredients harvested from the land and vast Pacific.
