Balkan Holidays Announces 3 New UK Departure Airports to Bulgaria for 2014

Balkan Holidays www.balkanholidays.co.uk (http://www.balkanholidays.co.uk/) the leading tour operator to Bulgaria has announced that it will be flying from three new UK airports as part of its summer 2014 programme. In addition to flights from most UK airports Balkan will also be offering departures on selected dates in May and September from Cambridge, Southend and Newquay, to Bourgas.

Rupert Diggins, Balkan Holidays Sales and Marketing Manager believes the treasures and pleasures of Bulgaria will really appeal to the public:“We already fly out of virtually every UK airport, so this move is designed to provide additional departure points to increase capacity to Bulgaria and open up new UK regions,” he said.

“The Black Sea coast is a sunbathers dream. The beaches are ideal for children, who will never be bored in one of the fantastic resorts, whilst the abundant bars and restaurants will ensure that adults will want for nothing. With its incredible, diverse history, the country will appeal to people who want a quieter, cultural holiday experience, “he added.

Announcing the new route, London Southend Airport’s Managing Director Alastair Welch said: “We are delighted to be adding Bulgaria and the beautiful Black Sea coast to our growing list of destinations for Summer 2014.

Al Titterington, Managing Director at Newquay Cornwall Airport, commented: “We are very pleased to be part of today’s announcement and to be working with our new commercial partner, Balkan Holidays, offering charter flights and package holidays to Bulgaria from Spring 2014.”

Head of Business & Route Development at Cambridge Airport, David Surley, said: “Balkan Holidays introducing the sun- drenched beach resorts of Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast is exciting news for holidaymakers from across our region.”
