One World Trekking Offers Custom Trip Options for Solo Travelers on 2013 Nepal Treks
To accommodate the growing number of solo travelers, One World Trekking (OWT) is offering those who prefer to travel solo or need to travel on specific dates, the option of a custom, solo trek for the same price as a group trip. “More and more we are receiving requests from single individuals wishing to travel on specific dates. We are trying to do what ever we can to help make their trekking dream come true”, says One World director Andy Crisconi. “We now have a collection of classic Himalayan treks that can be arranged on an as-requested basis for groups of 1 to 12 people. Popular trips such as the Everest Base Camp Trek and Annapurna Sanctuary Trek are included in this program. Also, there are no additional charges for single supplements”, Andy continues.
A solo traveler can now go on a pre-arranged, fully-guided and supported trekking trip in Nepal on the exact dates they need to travel. More than one-third of One World Trekking’s travelers book solo trips. By waiving the single supplement fee, OWT has made it much more affordable for solo travelers to see the Himalayas of Nepal.
Today, solo travelers are making up a larger percentage of the adventure travel market. Busy work schedules, limited vacation time and lack of traveling companions all contribute to this growing trend.
One World Trekking offers 40 unique and culturally-rich itineraries throughout the mountainous regions of Nepal, Bhutan and India. For more information, please email our office at or visit us.
