Jet Airways Offers Special Inaugural Airfares for its new Singapore - Delhi ServiceeTN SINGAPORE, August 22 2006: Jet Airways, India’s premier airline, is pleased to offer special, inaugural air fares for its new service between Singapore and Delhi, to be launched on September 06, 2006.For as low as SGD500 return fare on Economy class, passengers from Singapore can travel to the majestic capital city of India, New Delhi. For passengers travelling in groups of two or more, the deal is even more attractive with a special return fare of SGD450 per person. For the Club Premiere (Business Class) passengers, the promotional air fare stands at SGD1596, exclusive of taxes. This offer is valid from August 11, 2006 until September 30, 2006 and is subject to certain terms and conditions. Delhi marks the third destination for Jet Airways operations out of Singapore, the other two being Mumbai and Chennai. Since the start of operations in April 2005 with seven flights a week, Jet Airways will now operate 21 daily fights a week to India – a three-fold increase in 17 months. “The additional destination and flights are a reflection of the growing traffic between Singapore and India,” said Mr. V Raja, Vice President for Asia Pacific. “This is contributing to the rise in more economic, social and cultural exchange between the two countries,” he added. Flight 9W 017 will take off from Singapore’s Changi Airport at 2300 hours (Singapore Time) and arrive in New Delhi at 0215 hours the next day. The return flight 9W 018 will depart from New Delhi at 0835 hours and reach Singapore’s Changi Airport at 1650 hours (Singapore Time) the same day. The Singapore – Delhi flight schedule would provide for convenient onward connections in the morning to other Indian destinations on Jet Airways’ extensive domestic network, such as Srinagar, Leh, Varanasi etc. This new daily service will be operated with the new generation of Boeing B737-800, a state-of-the-art aircraft with winglets for improved performance. The aircraft has been specially configured for long-distance routes with 16 seats in Club Premiere and 124 seats in the Economy Class. Boasting a seat pitch of 58” in Club Premiere, roomier seats in Economy Class and a wide range of in-flight entertainment, the Boeing B737-800 aircraft promises to deliver unbelievable comfort and enjoyment to its passengers. Jet Airways also offers a transnational range of gourmet cuisine on board which will be served by a team of well-trained multi-lingual air crew to further delight its passengers, displaying Indian hospitality at its best.
