Get close to the stars! Madame Tussauds in Berlin, Hotel Adlon offers exclusive arrangement

BERLIN - In July 2008, the world-famous Madame Tussauds wax figure cabinet opened its seventh worldwide location, and its first in Germany, on the historic Unter den Linden boulevard. Here visitors will be able to marvel at, and even touch, the astonishingly-lifelike replicas of international stars, sporting legends, political greats and historic figures!

The Berlin collection will include stars such as Robbie Williams, George Clooney and Jennifer Lopez, as well as famous German figures ranging from Albert Einstein and Marlene Dietrich to tennis star Boris Becker and musician Herbert Grönemeyer, to chancellor Angela Merkel and the mayor of Berlin Klaus Wowereit. The Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin is the only hotel to offer exclusive guided tours behind the scenes and has put together an exceptional weekend package.

The special package includes two nights accommodation in a luxurious double room with a generous breakfast. Upon arrival there will be fresh fruit and water in the room, as well as a Madame Tussauds exhibition catalogue to get you in the mood for the visit. The culinary highlight of the weekend is, after a welcome glass of champagne, a festive four-course dinner on the Saturday evening in the Restaurant Quarré with a view to the famous Brandenburg Gate.

On Sunday morning, after enjoying the generous Adlon gourmet buffet breakfast, guests will have an exclusive guided tour of the wax figure cabinet before it opens. After this they will have the opportunity to be photographed with the many stars and get interactively involved, if they so wish! This could involve daring a penalty shot against famous German goalkeeper Oliver Kahn, sitting next to Ludwig van Beethoven at the piano or even lying on Sigmund Freud’s couch!

The package costs, including all the above named inclusions, €1,080 for two people / two nights in an elegant deluxe room; for one person: €860.
