ORLANDO, FL. – May 14, 2008 – As The Shipboard Cruiser(s), my long time partner Irene and I have traveled the world on cruise ships, from the smallest to the largest, during the last 30 years. In the early days of The Shipboard Cruiser, the tabloid newsletter, we met deadlines monthly year after year, sometimes at home sometimes on a cruise. When we converted to the Internet in 2003 life got a whole lot easier.

I was retired when I started the Shipboard Cruiser Newsletter in 1992 on a lark. It was highly successful and fun, but the deadlines month after month and over the years caused us to revert to the Internet for less strain. We started the online ShipboardCruiser.com in 1997 for the information and benefit of subscribers with
the idea we’d write and cruise until we got tired and then retire again. We did not sell travel or cruises, we just gave free Internet information, and still do.

After some 150 cruises over 30 years we are about to retire for the second time and will sell our valuable Domain Names so others may continue their use. Industry Domain Names are very difficult to obtain, since the good ones related to cruising and travel have long since been taken.

That second retirement time has come and we’ve decided to market the 39 Domain names we hold that revolve around the ShipboardCruiser.com Internet Site to promote and protect the name. We’ve been encouraged to auction the names, but have decided instead to sell these names privately as a package without a business value, for Domain name value only. The list is attached.

If you Google Shipboard Cruiser or just go on the Internet with ShipboardCruiser.com or AsiaCruises.com (even without www.) or any one of 10 other names we own and directly link to our site, up comes ShipboardCruiser.com – we are very well known around the world. Millions of cruisers have visited www.ShipboardCruiser.com in the 12 years since 1997. It’s a great research site for vacation cruisers to visit free to research their next cruise.

We would prefer to sell privately to an individual or a group already in the business with connections to take advantage of the potential. I’ll sell the domain names outright, not as a business. The buyer will receive the Shipboard Cruiser Web Site intact without charge transferred to your ISP or server if desired.
