Weekend Nonstops on AirTran Airways Get to Vacation Destinations Faster

AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings (NYSE:AAI) , has added nonstop, weekend flights to more vacation destinations than ever this fall and winter, allowing travelers to start vacations sooner and return later.


"Our nonstop, weekend flights are designed to get passengers where they want to go faster and easier," said Bob Fornaro, president and CEO of AirTran Airways. "Whether they're going to New Orleans for Mardi Gras or Florida to escape the winter chill, our weekend flights will allow passengers to enjoy sunshine, palm trees and warm sunsets as soon as they land."


AirTran Airways currently offers more Saturday-only and weekend flights than ever with flights between Washington D.C. and Orlando on Saturday, San Diego and Orlando on Friday and Sunday, Kansas City and Miami on Saturday and Sunday, Kansas City and Ft. Myers on Saturday, Akron/Canton and Ft. Lauderdale on Saturday, Baltimore/Washington and Daytona Beach on Saturday and Sunday, Boston and Sarasota/Bradenton on Saturday, and Indianapolis and New Orleans on Saturday.
