JetBlue Announces Nonstop Service Between Orlando and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic

Service Begins March 6, 2008(a) With Introductory Fares At $79(b) Each Way


JetBlue Airways today announces new daily nonstop service between Orlando and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, to begin March 6, 2008(a). The low-cost airline is celebrating the new route with special introductory fares at $79(b) each way for travel between March 6, 2008 and April 30, 2008. Introductory fares must be booked by November 27, 2007. Regular fares between Orlando and Santo Domingo will range from $99 - $349(b) each way.

JetBlue first introduced its award-winning service to Orlando in June 2000 and has grown to become the fifth largest carrier at the airport in terms of passenger traffic. This winter JetBlue will offer up to 44 nonstop flights per day between Orlando and 15 destinations across the United States and Puerto Rico.

"JetBlue's international service to the Caribbean from New York and Boston has grown tremendously in recent years," said Marty St. George, JetBlue's Vice President of Network Planning. "We're pleased to capitalize on that success by adding our first international service from Orlando. This will also provide both Floridians and Dominicans with the only nonstop service between these two exciting cities."

"This will be welcome news to thousands of Dominicans who travel to Orlando each year for vacations or to visit family and friends, many who have discovered the excellent shopping and other attractions of central Florida. Likewise, it will draw thousands more U.S. visitors to Santo Domingo, one of the Caribbean's most popular and hospitable destinations."

Customers flying JetBlue between Orlando and Santo Domingo will travel in style aboard JetBlue's modern EMBRAER E190 fleet, which features a spacious cabin and all-leather seating as well as complimentary first-run movies and bonus features from FOX InFlight(tm) on JetBlue's signature seatback televisions.

From Orlando, JetBlue also offers daily nonstop service to Aguadilla, P.R.; Boston; Buffalo, N.Y.; Burlington, V.T.; Newark, N.J.; Newburgh, N.Y.; New York/JFK; New York/LaGuardia; Ponce, P.R.; Portland, M.E.; Rochester, N.Y.; San Juan, P.R.; Syracuse, N.Y.; Washington, D.C./Dulles; and White Plains, N.Y. New nonstop service from Orlando to Buffalo and Rochester, N.Y. begins November 15, 2007; new nonstop service to Burlington, V.T. and Portland, M.E. begins January 10, 2008. From Santo Domingo's Aeropuerto Internacional Las Americas, JetBlue flies daily to New York/JFK.

Customers enrolled in JetBlue's customer loyalty program, TrueBlue, will earn four TrueBlue points each way for nonstop flights between Orlando and Santo Domingo. Double TrueBlue points are awarded for travel purchased online at www.jetblue.com. Customers can earn TrueBlue points even faster by using the JetBlue Card from American Express. Every time cardholders purchase JetBlue travel with the Card, or earn at least one TrueBlue point through other purchasing using the Card, all TrueBlue points in the member's account automatically extend for another 12 months.
