Aerogal Launches New U.S. - Ecuador Route

Only Airline to Offer All Passengers First Class Service

Aerogal, Ecuador's premier airline, will begin nonstop service from Miami International Airport to Guayaquil's Jose Juaquin de Olmedo Airport on December 7th, 2007. The new flight will be the only one to offer first class service to all economy passengers including welcome champagne, warm meals, digestives, snacks and their own flat panel TV. Miami becomes Aerogal's first U.S. destination, and the airline will be the only carrier offering flights from Miami to the famed Galapagos islands.

"We are extremely pleased to have launched this new route and to be the only Ecuadorian airline to fly into the U.S.," states Gabriela Sommerfeld, President and CEO of Aerogal. "Offering first class service to all of our passengers is our way of bringing the word 'service' back to airline travel. We want our passengers to be well-rested, well taken care of and comfortable when they arrive at their destination. Since its re-launch in 2002, Aerogal has been blazing new trails in airline service, becoming one of the first in the world to be certified by Smart Voyager, an Environmental Certification that evaluates aspects such as social-environmental responsibility politics, natural ecosystems conservation and reduction of negative environmental impacts. In addition, as part of Aerogal's 'green' initiatives, the airline has begun an environmentally friendly program in the Galapagos, requiring all airlines that fly into the destination to abide by certain rules and regulations that protect the Galapagos Islands' flora and fauna.
