SuperShuttle International Inc. Acquires Two More Shuttle Companies

SuperShuttle International Inc., the largest airport ground transportation company in the US, just got larger with the acquisition of M&M Luxury Shuttle, Inc. in San Francisco and Minibus Systems, Inc. in Ontario, Calif. The purchase price of the acquisitions was not disclosed.


M&M Luxury Shuttle, Inc., with 15 vans, was purchased from Ted Tehrani and will be rolled into the existing SuperShuttle operations in San Francisco including all operating permits at the airport with service for SFO to the East Bay cities and downtown San Francisco.


Minibus Systems, Inc. in Ontario, owned by Fazi Bastajani a longtime SuperShuttle franchisee, operating under the SuperShuttle name will be rolled into existing operations. The 80 van operation will now be a wholly owned subsidiary of SuperShuttle Los Angeles. Bastajani will remain as a member of the company's management team.


SuperShuttle is on an acquisition roll following the purchase of SuperShuttle International, Inc. by Veolia Transportation, Inc.


SuperShuttle International, based in Phoenix, AZ is a division of Veolia Transportation On Demand and a subsidiary of Veolia Environment (Euronext: VIE, NYSE: VE). SuperShuttle serves 27 airports, carrying more than eight million passengers a year. Airports served by SuperShuttle include some of the largest in the country including Los Angeles, New York, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Washington, D.C. and Miami.
