Miami Wins At World Travel Awardshotelresortinsider.com The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) has been voted North America's leading Tourist and Convention Bureau by travel agents worldwide, it was announced by GMCVB President & CEO, William D. Talbert III, CDME.The GMCVB was voted "the best" in its category in the 2007 World Travel Awards. The voting campaign reached a total of 167,000 travel professionals worldwide, including more than 110,000 travel agents. Hailed by the Wall Street Journal as the "travel industry's equivalent to the Oscars", the World Travel Awards are the most comprehensive and most prestigious awards program in global travel industry today. "It is a true honour to be recognized as the best of the best by the travel professionals we serve," said Mr. Talbert.
