Orbitz.com To Help Top 100 Users Fly Free Through New Incentive Program Promoting OrbitzTLC Traveler Update

eTN

Help Others, Help Yourself and Go First Class

By helping other travelers, those using the new OrbitzTLC Traveler Update tool can also reward themselves, with timely travel tips and a chance to win first class air travel, compliments of Orbitz. With its heritage of keeping travelers "A Step Ahead(TM)," Orbitz (http://www.orbitz.com/) today announced the launch of its incentive program supporting the beta-test of its OrbitzTLC Traveler Update service (http://updates.orbitz.com/). Orbitz also recently unveiled its newest television advertising creative, showcasing this latest technology innovation.

OrbitzTLC Traveler Update is a new service which invites travelers to share real-time information regarding what's happening in and around the nation's top airports. Additionally, the site includes historical security wait times from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), up-to-the-minute flight information from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), OrbitzTLC air traffic alerts and other reliable traffic and weather information.

From now through October 28, 2007, the "Top 100" contributors to Traveler Update will be eligible to win two free first class airline vouchers.

Anyone can post information to the site via computer or web-enabled cell phone at http://mobile.orbitz.com/. By registering with Orbitz.com, users of OrbitzTLC Traveler Update can vote on the helpfulness and relevance of other postings -- and be rated themselves. The "Top 100"-rated users will be rewarded through the new incentive program announced today.

"With more than 10,000 registered users based on buzz alone, we have a growing network of helpful travelers submitting updates at major airports every day," said Randy Susan Wagner, chief marketing officer, Orbitz Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE:OWW) . "OrbitzTLC Traveler Update is the next innovation in our unique high-tech, human touch approach to making travel more enjoyable, and we hope users continue to embrace the opportunity to benefit and help each other."

Combining reports of everyday travelers with the latest data from sources such as the FAA and TSA creates a unique information resource featuring a variety of travel tips -- all in one place. Updates and information includes:

-- Real-time Traffic -- Real-time traffic information from Yahoo Traffic
Sources, including traffic times, delays, accident reports and
construction updates.

-- Security Wait Time -- Provides 30-day average security line wait times
from the TSA, as well as updates on current wait times from fellow
travelers.

-- Parking -- Provides insight into various parking options at the
selected airport, rated by both convenience and price by the OrbitzTLC
Team.

-- Wi-Fi -- Informs travelers of the Wi-Fi options available at the
airport.

-- Weather -- Weather forecasts and the latest weather conditions at the
selected airport, provided by Weather.com.

-- Airport/Flight Status - Shows flight status and any airport delays
based on FAA data.

Newest Orbitz Advertising

The new creative television advertisements are available for viewing via YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/user/OrbitzTravel.

The new television advertisements, developed in partnership with Mullen in Wenham, MA (http://www.mullen.com/), are a part of a coordinated fall campaign to promote Orbitz.com. The integrated brand campaign also includes radio promotions, airports signage, street teams in major metropolitan areas and other non-traditional promotional methods like interactive billboards.

New Orbitz Games, More Chances to Win

Along with new OrbitzTLC Traveler Update incentives, Orbitz is giving customers more chances to win travel through Orbitz Games -- the popular interactive pop-up and Internet games launched in 2005. Orbitz has introduced a new Traveler Update-themed game, Know and Tell, which puts an amusing and challenging spin on the concept of sharing information with others while on the road (http://www.orbitzgames.com/).

Visitors can win travel discounts just for playing Know and Tell, with the chance to earn up to $100 off of their next Orbitz trip. In addition, for each of the next four weeks, one lucky winner will be randomly drawn to win first-class airfare for one year (awarded as 24 first-class, round-trip vouchers valid for anywhere within the Continental U.S. Restrictions apply).
