Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico, S.A.B. de C.V. announced today the temporary closing of the Los Cabos and La Paz airports due to Hurricane Henriette.
Many of the airlines have suspended flights to the area due to weather conditions as the storm moves through the region and the Company also considers this a precautionary measure for the safety of its employees and customers.
Hurricane Henriette, which is expected to reach Los Cabos this afternoon and La Paz early tomorrow morning, is a Category 1 strength, the weakest type of hurricane.
The Company expects that the airports will resume normal operations tomorrow morning.
