Queensland police are trying to track the last movements of an overseas tourist whose remains were found near Windorah, in western Queensland.
A helicopter pilot spotted the skeleton of the 47-year-old man next to a bicycle in mulga scrub two days ago.
Police say the body may have been there for nearly a year and have appealed for public help.
Detectives are also working with the Slovenian Embassy to formally identify the man and contact relatives.
