There is no April Fool’s joke going on at New Life Hiking Spa

There is no April Fool’s joke going on at New Life Hiking Spa…our prices REALLY DO start at $179 per night with our current special!

Hurry…it ends on Saturday, April 5th.

For over the past 35 years, New Life has prided itself on offering a great value and we have often been picked as one of the best destination spas at an affordable price by many publications.  However, it really wasn’t until this past week that I realized what an incredible value we are!

A friend of mine that I used to work with in Washington, DC many years ago called me and wanted to book a girlfriend getaway for her and three co-workers in April.  New Life Hiking Spa opens on May 15.  We are always open just 20 weeks a year when hiking is at its peak in Vermont, so the timing just didn’t work for her to come to us.

She really thought she could only get these three other ladies together in April, so she asked me to get back to her with some other places that I would recommend keeping in mind that price was a big factor.  There are some great spas out there and many of them are always on the same “top ten” lists that we are, so I decided to call around.  Here’s what I realized…New Life Hiking Spa REALLY is the best bargain out there!

Many people who call to make reservations with us are often surprised how much is included.  So just to clear it up, since it does seem “too good to be true”, here is what you get at New Life Hiking Spa:

  • A room with a private bath.
  • Breakfast, lunch and dinner.  All meals are healthy and freshly prepared by our New Life chefs.
  • Healthy snacks of fresh fruit and vegetables available in our hospitality room.
  • Three levels of hikes offered each morning guided by our professionally trained hiking staff.  Hiking poles, backpacks, water bottles and fresh fruit is provided to each guest.
  • (The variety of hiking was especially important to my friend because two of the ladies needed to lose a substantial amount of weight and the other two ran 5Ks together).
  • One massage (or other basic service) is included for each guest for each three night stay.
  • All fitness classes:  early morning stretch class, Chi Kung, basic strength and weight training, water aerobics, yoga classes, core conditioning classes, Pilates mat class and Fit Ball
  • Cooking demos and lectures
  • Nightly activities

The only thing additional is a nominal excursion charge for kayaking and if you would like an additional massage or service over the ones included.

With our current special that ends on April 5th, double occupancy rooms with a King Bed are as low as $179 per person/per night!  Shorter stays and single occupancy of course goes up, but even the shortest stay (a 2 night getaway) is just $241 per night for a single occupancy.  Tax and service charge are additional.

Combine these prices with the fact that hiking in Vermont in the summer is incredible.   Hiking in the cool, crisp mountain air with Green Mountains surrounding you is the best hiking you will get in the summer when most of the country is in sweltering heat!

As for my friend and former co-worker…she was able to reorganize the trip to come in September for fall foliage.  They all agreed it would be worth the wait!

If you are planning on taking a rejuvenating spa vacation this year, try New Life Hiking Spa.  So far, our reservations for 2014 are over 50% repeat guests.  Happy spa goers and a great value keep people coming back.

Take advantage of our current special ending on Saturday.  We are filling fast…and that’s no joke!
