JetBlue Airways (Nasdaq: JBLU) announced today plans to add daily nonstop service to two new Floridian destinations from Bradley International Airport in Hartford, Connecticut (BDL): Winter seasonal service to Southwest Florida International Airport in Fort Myers (RSW) service; and year-round service to Tampa International Airport (TPA), effective Thursday, October 24, 2013.

To celebrate, flights are on sale now through May 7, 2013 for just $80 one way to Tampa and $90 one way to Fort Myers for travel October 24 through November 20, 2013 (blackout dates apply) (a). The new service adds to JetBlue's current flights to four successful southbound destinations from Bradley, including Fort Lauderdale (FLL), Orlando (MCO), West Palm Beach (PBI) and San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU).
"It has become clear that JetBlue is Hartford-Springfield area carrier of choice and we're confident that southbound customers will continue to choose JetBlue's superior product and service over the rest, which includes new leather seats with plenty of room to stretch out, free entertainment at every seat and the best service in the skies," said JetBlue's Vice President Network Planning and Partnerships Scott Laurence. "Our new flights to Fort Myers and Tampa are testament to the success of our existing Bradley service and the continued support of the community and the ease of which it is to work with the Connecticut Airport Authority. It's that support exactly that allows us to further grow the excellent experience customers have come to know and love with JetBlue."
