Grand Hyatt Tokyo Anniversary Celebration

As Grand Hyatt Tokyo celebrates its 10th anniversary celebrations, Hyatt & Resorts is also celebrating its strong relationship with the hotel’s owner, Mori Building, Co. Ltd. (Mori Building), a company renowned for its strong culture, performance and operating philosophies.

“In the past decade, Hyatt and Mori Building have created outstanding hotels that have helped to redefine the meaning of authentic hospitality in their markets. Looking forward, we believe that Andaz Tokyo will be just as well received,” said Larry Tchou, group president – Asia Pacific Hyatt Hotels Corporation.  “We are proud to celebrate such an enduring relationship with Mori Building, who shares our commitment to high quality services and driving customer preference across the region.”

Mori Building, which owns Park Hyatt Shanghai and will own the Andaz Tokyo that is currently under development, has become one of Hyatt’s longest-standing, multi-brand owners in the world.  Earlier this year, Hyatt honoured Mori Building with its ‘Strategic Partner’ 2013 award at a ceremony held in the United States to recognise excellence among owners and developers worldwide.

“Our partnership with Hyatt has seen outstanding results to date, with mutual understanding and a shared vision,” said Hiroo Mori, President and CEO of Mori Hospitality Corporation. “Grand Hyatt Tokyo’s 10th anniversary marks just one of many milestones I am sure we will jointly establish in the years to come.  We already look forward to working with Hyatt on Tokyo’s very first Andaz hotel, set to open by 2014.”
