Virgin Trains Urges Early Booking to Guarantee a Seat for Easter Travel

Route improvement works by our colleagues at Network Rail mean alterations to many Virgin Trains services over the Easter weekend.  Trains will be busy and journey times longer than usual. People intending to travel should book early and reserve a seat.

Improvements will be made at a number of locations. A large number of Virgin Trains' services travel through Bletchley, and here the completion of a £120m project will bring a range of benefits, including 125 mph train speeds.

There will be no need for customers to buy Peak tickets for use from Friday 29 March to Monday 1 April inclusive - cheaper Off-peak tickets will be valid on all trains.
