This Chinese New Year, Galaxy Macau invites visitors from Asia and across the globe to the home of “World Class, Asian Heart” hospitality for holiday celebrations that will thrill and delight the whole family. Amazing decorations and displays, awesome activities and wonderful performances are just a few reasons why Galaxy Macau is the place to be for welcoming a prosperous Year of the Snake.
Magnificent Chinese New Year decorations will be displayed throughout the resort, with the most spectacular of them all at Galaxy Macau’s famous Fortune Diamond lobby and East Square. There, visitors will find giant peacocks measuring as wide as 11 meters and as high as 5.5 meters, each made from more than a thousand traditional red packets. The royal, elegant peacock is the king of birds and even served as an inspiration for the design of Galaxy Macau, which is why the New Palace of Asia is wishing its guests prosperity in the New Year with these and many other larger-than-life symbols of good fortune. The amazing decorations present photo opportunities that can’t be found anywhere else, and they will be on display from 14 January to 20 February.
